Chance is a dog who has truly lived up to his name.  Rescued from a high kill shelter in Indiana, we took in Chance, hoping that he would receive his second CHANCE at life.  Chance was adopted to what he thought would be his forever home. Sadly, Chance’s owner learned that he is in the early stages of kidney disease and he was not willing to provide the care that Chance would need.  He was returned to us and is searching, yet again, for his CHANCE at a forever home. Despite having a kidney condition, the care that he will require is quite simple. Chance will need to be on daily antacids and senior dog food.  Although he is nowhere close to a senior, the food has less proteins for his kidneys to process. Chance is around four years old and, as you can see, absolutely gorgeous! Chance is a smaller lab mix, weighing around 55 pounds.  This makes him just the right size for a family who doesn’t want to be plowed into all the time.  (No offense, huge lab lovers!). Chance can be a little shy at first but he warms up quickly and LOVES people.  Chance is great with other dogs and always plays nicely. This poor guy has known nothing but people giving up on him.  All he is asking for his one last CHANCE to live out his days as the pampered prince he deserves to be!

Chance is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and kept on monthly preventatives.  If you are interested in adopting, please apply and indicate “Chance”  in the notes section.
