Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Abigail.

She is about 3-years-old and weighs 40 pounds.

We think this cutie might be a Lab/Collie Mix? We don't dog DNA test them, so it's just a guess. Her coat is very soft.

She loves to be outdoors and take walks. She is great on a leash and would possibly be a great running/jogging partner for someone.

She gets super-excited (and a little bouncy) and happy seeing a leash. She also loves to go in the car so gets excited and runs to the car as soon as her foster mom open the garage door.

She is picking up commands and is working on "sit" and "down."

Abigail is a super sweet girl! She is good home alone, hasn't chewed on anything (bonus!) and is also crate and house trained.

Right now Abagail lives in a foster home with her foster mom and a cat. Andddddd, after some evaluation we'd recommend a cat free home for her in the future. :)

There's no dogs in her current foster home but she's been known to be good with them.

She can be a bit shy and greets strangers calmly, slowly, giving kisses. She will stay away if she feels threatened.

We'd recommend a home without young kids or a lot of commotion for Abigail. We think she'd just enjoy a nice and chill forever home. When she gets overwhelmed, she takes a break for a minute.

She needs a calm, patient family because she will become very submissive and lay on her back with even the slightest pressure on her. She is very fearful of thunder. Her whole body starts to shake even with very small amount of thunder. Many dogs have that same kind of fear. (The writer of her bio once had a dog that would jump in the bath tub and hide when a bad storm rolled in... :) )

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to find her forever home.
